Dr. Bejjenki Chary
Cofounder of our practice, Dr. Bejjenki S Chary, is a Primary Care physician of Indian origin. Dr. Chary graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College of India in 1984, and did his residency in Internal Medicine at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in India. He served as captain and Regimental Medical officer in the Indian Army Medical Corps, and worked as Senior House Officer and Registrar in South Wales, United Kingdom, prior to moving to the United States. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at Veterans Affairs Medical Center/ Georgetown University Washington, DC, and served as Chief Resident at VAMC/ Georgetown University Medical Center.

Dr. Chary has been in private practice since 1998 on Capitol Hill. He has been practicing at Washington Hospital Center as an internist and primary care physician since 2002. He is a teaching attending and senior physician at Washington Hospital Center, and served as president at Specialty Hospital of Washington long-term acute care. He has privileges at Washington Hospital Center, Inova Mt Vernon, Inova Alexandria Hospital, and Bridge Point Long Term Acute Care Hospital at Capitol Hill. Dr. Chary is an empathetic, highly respected internist at Washington Hospital Center. He networks with specialists to coordinate great care for our patients, and is a compassionate physician with excellent bedside manners.
